A healthy snack for children

Saimarang is located in Kaski District in Gandaki Province in western Nepal. At the school in Saimarang (Pokhara District), around 80 children receive a warm meal every day thanks to our support. We have been supporting the canteen for disadvantaged children since 2016. They come to school from the surrounding hamlets. This tiffin program contributes to the overall development of the children. Some of them come to school on an empty stomach. When they have the opportunity to eat well at school, they can concentrate better on learning. This not only promotes the children’s physical development, but also improves their academic performance.

In his latest report for 2026, the school principal writes: “Dear sir, we have to committed that, the fund will use only the tiffin programme. The students of our school are very happy for school meal. Their parents are also happy and thankful to you and  your project. This programme makes a positive changes and increased a result of this shool. I also shared you a good message , our schools result was first in our rural municipality among the 52 schools.”
