The severe flooding in Nepal has left many people in an extremely difficult situation. There have been many deaths and injuries. Families have lost loved ones, their homes and a large part of their personal belongings, and are now in urgent need of assistance.  Yesterday, we reported on our website about the Bhotekoshi Flood.

ProNepal is therefore launching a fundraising campaign to support those affected.

The donations received will be used – in line with actual needs on the ground – to fund emergency kits and urgently needed relief supplies. These may include, in particular, food, drinking water, hygiene items, blankets, as well as small tents or other simple emergency shelters.

Help where it is needed

The selection of relief supplies and their distribution will be coordinated with the relevant local authorities. As relief efforts in the affected areas can only be carried out in cooperation with the Nepalese government authorities, ProNepal will coordinate the use of the donations with our local partners accordingly.

Our aim is to use the available funds as quickly as possible, transparently and in line with the needs of the affected families.

We will report on the specific use of the donations as soon as this has been finalised.
