The overwhelming response to our September 2026 fundraising appeal for the people severely affected by the floods in Nepal has deeply touched us.

We would like to express our heartfelt thanks to all our donors!

An important request to our donors

For some bank transfers, unfortunately, we only have the donor’s name and no postal or email address.

If you have not yet provided us with your details, please send us your postal address, Italian tax code (codice fiscale), and, if possible, your email address.

This will enable us to thank you personally and to send you the donation certificate for tax purposes at the beginning of next year.

What your donations have already made possible

Thanks to your great generosity, we have already been able to provide or commit a total of €16,000 for concrete relief measures:

• €5,000 to Chay Ya Nepal: during the first phase following the disaster, the organisation was already able to begin distributing essential relief supplies to 29 particularly affected families.
• €6,000 to our partner organisation SEO: SEO initially distributed emergency packages to 30 families. It is currently providing a further 250 families with urgently needed supplies, including bedding, sleeping equipment and warm clothing.
• A further €5,000 has been pledged: SEO has recently submitted another relief project to the Nepalese authorities. With the cold season approaching, the project aims to provide warm clothing to families particularly affected by the disaster.

Behind these figures are people and families who have lost so much as a result of the disaster. We hope that, with your help, we can make at least a small contribution towards easing their hardship.

Once again, our heartfelt thanks for your solidarity and support!
